This seminar and book-launch aims at examining whether the US administration's foreign and security policy has had an effect on the security situation of the Baltic Sea region and on Finland's and Sweden's willingness to join NATO and to participate in NATO-led exercises. It also analyzes how European security cooperation is developing. The authors will have the chance to present their contribution to the publication and to discuss the above mentioned issues from a Finnish, Swedish, European and American perspective.
